About Me:
I'm a social justice advocate with a public relations company, the Represent Agency, serving clients working in the public interest (www.representinc.com)
I live in Brooklyn, NY with my husband, Graham, and our cats.
Some Things I'm Trying to Do to Promote Sustainability:
Demonstrating that progressive values are compatible with sustainable business practices--from basics like striving towards a paperless office, to paying sustainable wages and health benefits (I know that's not exactly what you mean, but still) so everyone who works here can stay as long as they're engaged and fulfilled by the work, not until they're forced out by economic necessity. Also, we eat raw foods only until dinner every day (less cooking, less waste), buying our produce from a local organic delivery service (fewer trips to market, less packaging) and soon (!!) from a CSA that's forming in our neighborhood. We also garden in our backyard, and compost too.
Interests:
Dancing, books books books, drawing, sewing, growing things, cooking, political activism, travel.
