- Since a couple of folks have asked....the photo is of my daughter and niece. We were kayaking near Ketchikan last summer. Minutes before the shot we'd been serenaded by a trio of juvenile bald eagles and then a pod of orcas surfaced about hundred yards away trolling for salmon. We spent twenty minutes in their presence before they and we decided to move on. Then this rainbow emerges on an otherwise overcast afternoon. Figure it was just God saying hello.
