Some Things I'm Trying to Do to Promote Sustainability:
Telecommuting instead of car commuting; growing our own vegetables and shopping at Palo Alto farmers market; high gear recycling especially e-waste; trying to get Christine off bottled water; xeriscaping backyard; planning a green wedding now.
Interests:
Technology enabled solutions to reduce environmental impact of everyday business practices. eg. collaboration software. Finding solutions for e-waste.

Just finished watching The Power of Commuity about how Cuba transformed their economy away from dependence on fossil fuels after the collapse of the Soviet Union, who was providing half of Cuba's oil and 80% of its food.
