- In addition to my Presidio studies, I am working on my LEED Accredidation. Presidio is part of a mid-life career change. I plan on zooming in on a career focus by next semester- I'm thinking renewable energy or green building, maybe both, maybe neither-I'm really enjoying and grateful for this time of exploration.
My family (my husband Garry and I have 4 sons) is very hands on-from building,remodeling and furniture design to wrenching on cars and bikes. Momming still takes a bit of time, even with teens, and there is always a major project going on around the house. We work at decreasing our footprint and reduce, re-use and recycle as a way of life.
- Some Things I'm Trying to Do to Promote Sustainability:
- I promote renewable energy at every opportunity and am raising environmentally aware kids. Ocaissionally, I do some blogging The POL Projects I'm working on give me hope about the impact our work will have in getting things turned around.

- Spinning & Weaving, Angora Rabbits, Design, Gardening, and dare I say-reading.

- All, but mostly classical and jazz.
