About Me:: Born and bred in the suburbs of Brisbane. I had a pet kangaroo when I was five. After 21 years, I was bored of the beautiful beaches and left Australia for a 6 month Asian adventure that included teaching in refugee camps, diving in Koa Tao and sailing down the Yangtze.

I ended up in London and hung around for a couple of years project managing the clean up of some of the nastiest industrial sites in the UK.

One summer, I flew out to California for a road trip adventure and saw Vegas, The Grand Canyon and Hollywood. I also fell in love with San Francisco and my wife. I have been living in SF for the past five years and have loved every minute of it.

I have been involved in environmental cleanups for the best part of a decade but after visiting a Presidio School of Management open house, I realized that I wanted to be part of the sustainability movement and to collaborate with like-minded people on projects that will contribute to the betterment of the environment and society.

Some Things I'm Trying to Do to Promote Sustainability:: eat less meat and fish, eat locally, waste less, buy used, trying to ween myself off driving, talking to friends and family about switching to CFLs, composting, recycling.
